Fall 2013: poverty drives out the wealth

By | September 29, 2013

At the end of the summer before changing of fashion seasons it’s the right time to take a thought about the forthcoming fall trends that have been predicted in February and March shows of pret- a-porter. It is known that fashion is ahead of its time for at least six months. The world-known fashion houses in the top collections of ready-made garments have already defined the major 2013-14 Fall – Winter trends.

Fashion experts of style.com said that trends of the upcoming season defined collections of Céline, Chanel, Christopher Kane, Fendi, Gareth Pugh, Givenchy, Haider Ackermann, Hermès, Lanvin, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Proenza Schouler, Rochas and The Row. Of course coming fall can`t be imagined without Valentino, Dior, Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton.

Very likely the most important feature of the coming fall-winter season will be practical but definitely feminine clothes of great design. You can make sure of it having looked at works of Raf Simons, Thomas Mayer , Alber Elbaz , Miuccia Prada and others.

Many houses have offered a restrained color palette. It`s mainly the contrast of black and white. Black became one of the main colors in the unexceptionally laconic collection of Valentino and in another impressive performance of Haider Ackermann. There was also enough “elegance color” in the memorable Chanel catwalk models and in the new emotional Celine show where Phoebe Philo presented an interesting cut, slightly ironic things of autumn wardrobe in the soft bulk forms.
